He suggested to Fortress Maximus that the Autobots leave for this new world as soon as possible, and tilt the war ongoing there in the Autobots' favor. Highbrow managed to track down Earth's exact location using the Autobots' astronomy computer, and shrieked excitedly upon completing this task. Figuring out the two's incompatibilities, Scorponok attacked, but with encouragement from Chromedome, Gort and Highbrow managed to see past their differences and defeated the Decepticon, learning the true meaning of being a Headmaster. The ensuing clash saw Highbrow captured by Scorponok, and with his partner Gort conflicting with Highbrow's decisions, he was at a disadvantage. Upon their arrival, Highbrow's suspicions were confirmed the previous fight had been a set-up to lure the Headmasters into an ambush helmed by Scorponok. The Headmasters decided that rescuing the Targetmasters from the Decepticon Fortress of Despair was more important than debating whether or not their victory had come too easily, and sped off to liberate their brethren. Hardhead criticized Highbrow's tendency to think things over, but Brainstorm defended his caution. Mindwipe faked a retreat, something that Highbrow found very suspicious. But the tables turned when Highbrow wound up saving Chromedome from the Horrorcons. Chromedome taunted Highbrow about how wrong his predictions were, as the latter had expected an easy in-and-out operation. After a brief battle with the Decepticon Targetmasters they retreated to protect Koraja from further damage. Love and Steel!įollowing the introduction of the Targetmasters to the war on Nebulos, Highbrow, Gort and the others were freed from captivity by a remorseful Zarak, now himself binary bonded to Scorponok. This distraction afforded the Decepticons the time they needed to outflank their opponents, leading to Highbrow and his Headmaster comrades being gunned down and taken prisoner. The civilians were enclosed within leviating bubbles by Mindwipe, forcing the Autobots to rescue them before they floated off into outer space. In the battle that ensued, Highbrow had to contend with dodging attacks from both Apeface and Weirdwolf until his attention was turned elsewhere: several delegates of Nebulos's Council of Peers had followed the Autobots to monitor them, and now found themselves imperiled. The Autobots were lured to Scorponok's base on the Plains of Thok after receiving a distress call from Lord Zarak, who had allied himself with the Decepticons. Broken Glass! Highbrow was binary bonded to Gort and together they were able to repel the Decepticon invaders, all the while marveling at the incredible power the process had granted them.
